I figger pleasure is for man and woman, if there is sexual pleasure there it is OK, for why would God put it there…for him???? I think God does not like it because you do not know the body and the knowledge you walk in, and it often leads to more evil acts of sexual activity. Like homosexuality, or other garbage. But between man and woman it is ok….but you should search God for your own personal way.

anal sex is a sexul perversion.
For this reason God allowed their shameful passions to control them. Their women have exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones.

Likewise, their men have given up natural sexual relations with women and burn with lust for each other. Men commit indecent acts with men, so they experience among themselves the punishment they deserve for their perversion.

In Gods eyes,No sin is greater.U may as well murder as to lie. Before his eyes they are the same.I myself think that it is not.Not if it is between hubby and wife.Homosexuality is wrong.Bible speaks against man lying with man nor woman. But between a married couple I wouldn't think so.I know Id hurt my old man if He even tried.Just my opinion.LOL

It is sodomy and prohibited in all religion. It cause meanness and disgrace in the society.

In traditional Orthodox Judaism, it is forbidden because the man "spills seed"; he does not put his seed where it is able to produce a child, and this is literally taken to mean the murder of future generations of Jews who would have been born otherwise.

    It doesn't count a sin.
Possibly it's a kind of instinct left along the way while human being's evolution from monkey (suppose it's true).
From documentary film about nature you may find out that in monkey society, none-reproductive sexual act ( most of which is anal) is very common.
Thereby, people who like to have this kind of act are probably those who have relatively stronger "ancient instinct" than the others…

Oh, wait. I think I misunderstood the question. My bad.

By "sin", do you mean it goes against the rules given by a god who rewards and punishes, who sends people to an afterlife of paradise or torment? If so, I'll unask the "sin" part. Here's why:

Nobody's ever come back from heaven or hell to tell us about them. Yes, heaven can be a comforting story when people die… but those supposed Secret Magical Places are awfully convenient stories to keep people in line, following what the authorities tell them to do, and putting ambitions and pleasures of THIS LIFE on hold forever — maybe even throwing away life itself! — in pursuit of an imagined reward in an afterlife.

(BTW, Judaism regards "sin" a bit differently, as "missing the mark", that we can do better. That can have meaning with or without a big daddy in the sky.)

In any kind of sex, are you taking precautions to avoid spreading STDs? (The ethic of reciprocity, often taught as the "golden rule" — treat others with the fairness, kindness, and consideration we'd want for ourselves — is valid with or without gods and demons.)

    As for anal sex:

Do you and your partner enjoy it? If not, don't do it. But if you do, it's no more "unnatural" than playing baseball or singing opera — go for it!

In Islam it is a sin.

In Christianity there is no real sin because everyone is forgiven before hand for the murder, adultry and all else commited .

That is what the meaning of being "saved" is.

Any sex before marriage is a sin cuz its lust and of the world. Your not supposed to share your body with another person until you become one before god. When you marry, the two of you are becoming ONE. Therefore, you bodies belong each others and its no longer a sin before god. So its not a question "Is anal sex a sin" cuz all SEX of any kind or way is a SIN—Before marriage that is ONLY. Then after marriage its special, loving, bonding, amazing, pure and god does not frown on it.

No, it is not a sin. Enjoy it if you like and don't feel guilty. Be sure to use a condom to protect your self and your partner from STDs. Other religions don't make specific recommendations regarding alternatives.

The apostle Paul cites three sins along with other disfellowshipping offenses when he writes: “The works of the flesh are manifest, and they are fornication, uncleanness, loose conduct, I am forewarning you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s kingdom.” Galatians 5:19-21.

Fornication (Greek, por·nei'a) applies to illicit sexual relations outside Scriptural marriage. It includes adultery, prostitution, and sex relations between unmarried individuals as well as oral and anal sex and the sexual manipulation of the genitals of an individual to whom one is not married. A person who unrepentantly practices fornication does not belong in the Christian congregation.

Why are homosexuals so susceptible to AIDS? Because of their sex practices. While AIDS is also spread by oral intercourse, it is the practice of anal intercourse (sodomy) that has been the primary way of passing AIDS among homosexuals.

The human anus was designed for the elimination of waste, excrement, and not for sexual intercourse. It has only a thin layer of epithelial cells, the tissue that lines the anus. Anal intercourse results in a tearing of this lining and in bleeding fissures. Infected semen going into the rectum from the partner can provide a source of AIDS, as can abrasions and lesions on the male organ. Also, the damaged rectal tissues of the recipient permit infected secretions to pass the infection on to other sex partners.

I think you will find that God frowns on this. Think about Sodom and Gomorrah.

    17. For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."
    18. The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness,
    19. since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.
    20. For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine nature–have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
    21. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
    22. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools
    23. and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.
    24. Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.
    25. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator–who is forever praised. Amen.
    26. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones.
    27. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
    28. Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done.
    29. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips,
    30. slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents;
    31. they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless.
    32. Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
